slow page load is driving me mad

Hi, could some of you guys/girls take a look at my site www(.)newcasinobonuses(.)co.uk and tell me if you find my page load speed slow, i have run the tests and it comes out with a 75, but it feels really slow and im getting error messages in gwt's crawl stats, some pages are timing out. i moved my site from shared hosting to vps with unique ip addres and asked for gzip and iv added the plugins for wordpress to minify css but it still is slow i feel
any help please?

Yup it appears to run a little slow. Not really bad but it feels like its running into scripts or something driven from the database. Not sure how else to put it. I often see this with Joomla sites - i would check your CMS and see if there are things you can turn off. Maybe do a debug session - that can help.
Its not the server but rather your site I think.

Loaded pretty fast for me..

There was a short hesitation upon the url first loading and then a fast page load.

loads fast for me too and I clicked on several pages. which page loads slow?
had a quick look at the coding too. you could try and move javascript from the head to the bottom right before end of body close tag of the page. but it depends on the type of script you're loading if it will still work.
and use firebug, reload the page when you're in the Net tab to see the loading times.

Loaded fairly quickly on my computer. If you think it loads slowly, maybe it has something to do with your hosting? I once changed from shared hosting to dedicated hosting, and my website became twice as fast.

I say it appears the hosting is not the issue since the hosting service seems to allow fast access from ddifferent parts of the world....

It could be your isp not giving you good speeds.....

Try rebooting your cable modem/dsl modem and routers accordingly and see if that helps a little...

thanks to all of you for taking the time to have a look, its looks like css so im having a play around and trying a diferent cache plugin aswell, if i get good results i will let you know what i did
