Default Which social media channel is a must?

    Hey,

I want to boost my casino affiliate site's traffic using social media, but not sure which one is worth the effort. I assume Facebook and Google+ are musts, but how about Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and alike? Do these bring good traffic and conversion?

    Thanks in advance.

Definitely going with all of them is ideal, but when time is limited, this might be a bit of daunting task.

I would suggest starting out by creating an account for all of them (claiming your username before someone else does is important!).

From there, many of the sites can be linked directly to each other (ex. A post on Facebook can be sent directly to your Twitter feed). You just have to look in the sharing settings in each account.

Though this won't create the most diverse content (generally posting different things on each platform is best), you will be able to save some time by filling out all of your various feeds by only focusing on one or two social media channels.

Twitter and Facebook are the best, even though you have to be careful with promoting casino there as developers of Facebook/Twitter don't really like it and can ban you without a reason

I'd say neither is a MUST. Unless someone throws out some statistics of converting social media clicks and conversions, I would assume it's only done for engagement and offering alternative ways of communication, rather than anything else.

Bottom line yes you might boost your traffic, but would it be targeted? More like readers curious to see what you offer. Then again, you might as well try it you have nothing to lose.
