Default social media - what to use and why

    Hi,
I am a new casino affiliate. I do google plus, twitter and facebook.

Google plus and twitter doesnt provide much benefit for me - any suggestions?

facebook works well, but it is hard to stay within the "allowed parameters"

have anyone tried using linkedin. Do you recommend spending time on it or not.

Any other social media channels any one would recommend using?

    Thanks!

You have answered your own question perfectly well.

Do Facebook. Make sure you stay withing the allowed parameters.

Thing is, even though Google + and Twitter might not seem to do that much for you, the way 'you can see', it does actually benefit your site.

If you make sure you post quality posts to Google + , you will get back-links and some attention to your site from Google. Make sure you do not just copy / paste your content on to your + post, but write a little bit of unique content, each time you promote a link from your site on G+. Use tags. #casino #blackjack #goodfewmore and you will create more back-links and attention for the same post, but on the hastag pages of G+.

You may think, it does not do that much, but if you are good at it, and consistent, your site will benefit.

Twitter works sort of the same. They are social signals. Especially if people then retweet one of your tweets, and other people then retweet that tweet and so on. You might not see much happening from it, but Search engines do pick up on it. And, so, using Twitter and G+ could still be beneficial, if done correctly and consistently.

I wish you all possible prosperity with your site.

The thing with Facebook is to work out exactly what type of posts to promote and how to encourage user engagement
Plus the fact if you run the wrong looking advert you will eventually run into the wall where you will be required to obtain written permission
from the casino operators authorising you to promote on their behalf, which a lot are reluctant to do.

I've had to do this with 3 casinos so far

I wouldn't invest time in Linkedin for a gambling site. I don't think you will see any players from there. I would stick with Facebook.

As an affiliate focusing on casinos I probably wouldn't dig into Linkdin. The only thing I see form Linkedin is that affiliate managers can get ahold of you easier but other than that I don't see a point. I would stick to Facebook and grinding the Twitter account.

I believe you are safe to promote your page to get likes etc., and boost your posts, as long as you do not have an outbound link (i.e. link pointing to your website or other gambling website in the post). Basically promoting pages and posts within facebook only, and not promoting gambling pages/sites outside of facebook. Also must target allowed countries, i.e. UK, Canada, but not US

I have been using scoop.it as well, in the same sense as google plus - to add back links and also quality traffic and user engagement...

I have also used scoop.it, however i am still unconvinced as to the 'quality' of this. Do you get a significant amount of traffic through this?

I wouldn't recommend to you to try Linkedin. I don't think that it is worth it. In my opinion, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are the most important social media channels at the moment.
