Software Engineers Building in iGaming – Happy to Join GPWA

Hello everyone,
My name is Alex, and I'm a software engineer with over six years of experience building scalable backend systems and web applications.

Together with a fellow developer, I've recently started a new venture focused on the iGaming industry. Over the past months, we've been building a modern B2B platform designed to help entrepreneurs and operators launch their own online casino brands more efficiently.

At this stage, we're not here to promote our product. My main reason for joining GPWA is to learn from experienced affiliates and operators, better understand the industry's challenges, and connect with professionals who share the same passion for iGaming.
I'm excited to be part of this community and look forward to contributing, learning, and hopefully building long-term relationships with many of you.

If you are speaking in terms of white labels, or actual operator sites both have an entire set of issues an affiliate in most cases do not have to face.

Putting up a white label does make it so you are acting in the capacity of an operator, so if or when any legal issues arise the site will be treated the same as an operator in most of the cases. (licensing, licensing and geo, payment methods, hosting jurisdictions with licensing) and so many more.

Just because a developer says they help with that doesn't not mean the issues will not arise.

Thank you for your valuable insight. I completely agree that running an online casino involves much more than just having a software platform. Licensing, jurisdiction, payment processing, compliance, and regulatory requirements are all critical aspects that can't be overlooked.

While my background is primarily in software engineering, we're fortunate to be working alongside industry professionals who have more than 15–20 years of experience in the iGaming sector. Their expertise covers licensing, regulatory compliance, operational processes, and business development, which complements our technical side.

Our goal is not simply to deliver software, but to help operators build a sustainable business with the right guidance and infrastructure. That's exactly why I joined GPWA—to learn from experienced members like yourself and better understand the industry's realities from different perspectives.
