Someone using our affiliate codes on dodgy app

I'll try and keep this as short as possible but someone has created a couple of apps - including this one, https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...whnheyp_irwovq - and for some reason unknown to anyone used our affiliate tracking code.

Betfred aren't happy as the app is dodgy/illegal/breaks affiliate terms on branding (whatever) and as this is the second time this has happened they are threatening to close our account.

I don't know why someone would use our tracking code. They aren't replying to emails at the address listed at Google Play.

Any suggestions or comments very welcome!

Very weird.

Maybe ask betfred to block the tracker and then set up new ones for your sites. At least that way you're making efforts to resolve, should count for something - right?

We're looking at that route but they can't seem to remove only that particular code so it would essentially mean deleting all of our tracking codes and losing all of our players (as things stand).

Really? I'd be super surprised if IA didn't have this feature. I'm also 90% sure I've seen IA aff links go to a 'disabled tracker' page before which suggests it is possible, unless that can only happen on an account level. Maybe go ask on the IA forum if it's possible.

I had the exact same thing, however instead of an app, someone was using my code in their website. It was also with Betfred. I'll send you a PM

Can you report the app in the playstore?
That might be the quickest way to get rid of it.

I've done that and they have also done that but this is the second time it's happened.
