Well, it is a bit spammy but not if you and he had a dialog going previously.

BUT....or them to just approach you out of the blue without prior contact then it certainly is spammy, and we have always acted somewhat aggressivly against this practice.

There really is no reason for this to take place this way since sponsors have many amrketing options available to them....

I used to get fired up, now I just hit delete and keep on trucking. Not worth the time to respond.
