    Default Spin Palace Spam Update!

    Hi all,

I've received an email from Tex over at eCogra. She's requested that I send all SPAM received in connection to Spin Palace to her.

Obviously the more people who complain the more chance we have of having this matter addressed.

    So...

If you have received SPAM regarding Spin Palace, please forward the email (and full header information) to the following email address:

texATecogra.org (replace the AT with @)

    Cheers

    Dave

I got dozens of spams today advertising many different casinos, and I dont think any pitched a Wagershare property.

I didn't bother opening many to look though as it seems that casino spam is on a serious rise.

    Hi all,

Thanks for doing your bit in this, I'm sure everyone who is affected by it will be appreciative.

The funny thing about this SPAM...since I totally lost the plot at Wagershare & brought this up with eCogra, I've not received one single spam.

That makes me form the opinion that Wagershare is behind this and not the "media buy" story they'd like us to believe.

Honestly if that is the case (which nothing would surprise me these days) then the same fate that befell Jackpot Factory should be placed onto Spin Palace Group, or at least someone needs a good public ass kicking!

    Cheers

No problem Dave it appears quite obvious the Spin Palace Group is dealing these email spam bombs.

I am predicting another 6 months before most catch on as per usual. But in the meantime I will lodge my formal complaint with ecogra, and some others.

I don't know about Spin Palace, but my inbox has been absolutely melting with spam over the last 2 days from mailings from "Golden Gate" Casino. Anyone else getting these? I wish they'd jump off their bridge, grrrrrr

Yeah been getting those for ages...Though...I don't know why you didn't start a new thread for this? It derails the Spin Palace topic...

I haven't gotten one from spin palace since being told it was a media buy a few weeks ago. I've gotten a few more from lesser known (and less known to me, means less expectation of ethics)

I am confident we all agree on one thing spam email is an major costly annoyance! These could indeed be targeting children for they are unsolicited.

I guess my point is this WagerShare must be well aware of this situation. Failure to choose to do nothing makes them part of the problem. Or as the American legal system puts it ďan accessory to the crime.Ē Spam email is a crime in many parts of the world including the UK.

    Hi all,

as you know i'm well outspoken on most issues ..... this no different.

However i do understand it IS possible WS got into a deal where they didnt' know what the outcome was to be.

I (think .... and if not me ...then I know of other rep affs that fell victim) to some kind of PPC .....(can't remember which) ..... that was using spam emails to get us traffic.... point being ...... that sometimes it is possible to buy into something that you don't know will end up being a scum-bag approach.

not defending WS...... just saying its possible. I do think (and remind i have no reason as i don't make **** with them) ..... that WS has made an effort .... (according to what I've read here) ..... to shut down the situation.

more than many do...... again ...... not sticking up for ..... nor putting down..... just saying .... we can all (any paying ads) ..... can fall into such situation that we don't know what's going on until told.

    Best Holidays to all!

Quite possible but hiding under the vial of ignorance has never been a good legal argument?

WS has admitted to registering throw away domains for the use of mailers (spam...cough).

Regardless of the SPIN (no pun intended) WS would like to place on this subject, the fact that a premeditated plan was hatched and used on the pretext that WS knew full well it would cause dramas, is enough reason to believe they were very well aware of what they were doing.

Unfortunately (and like most issues) instead of just coming clean, a wall of BS is throw up & a lot of pissing in peoples pockets occur.

They (that's most aff programs and casino's) need to realise that the BS just wont wash, we're not mindless morons & there are some of us who have the resources (and apt) to dig deeper and find the truth no matter how long it takes.

    Happy holidays everyone

    Cheers
