Cheers but he has left, got an auto out of office this morning saying he was no longer working for them
Contact Claire: claire.tribert -at- sportingbet -dot- com
Cheers![]()
Looks like she has left as well
I no longer work for Sportingbet. Please contact sbaffiliates@sportingbet.com for any queries.
Sorry, I was not aware of this. If Claire is no longer there, you may try james.arnold -at- sportingbet.com. It's my last idea. Good luck.
It's not like they are worth promoting. You players are stolen after 24 months.
that sucks. Sorry to hear that. How does it work with some books that take over a player when they havent placed a bet in say 3 months. Does it become a house account and the affiliate loses the player? I read about this in TOS of a book and it doesnt seem very fair. Is this a common practice?

Are the terms the same for Sportingbet Australia?
edgarf76 (19 May 2013)
That condition appears to be missing from the Australia terms and conditions. This is it in the general terms (for other countries):
such commission shall be payable in accordance with the terms of the Affiliate Sign up Form and to be set out by us, and shall be payable for a period of 24 months from the date of first registration of each New Customer.
This condition (harking back to edgarf76's point) is in there in the Australian terms:
If a Visitor does not place a bet or make a deposit for a period of 12 months, they will cease to be a Visitor for the purposes of this agreement and such clients may be reallocated to the internal staff at Sportingbet at which time you will be no longer eligible to receive commission in the event that the client recommences betting.
I guess it does not need to be in the terms for other countries as they steal the player after 24 months anyway.
Good luck getting hold of them. Those were the only people I was aware of.
We promoted SB in South Africa because for some time there really was no alternative. Unfortunately their two year clause allowed them to steal some REALLY good players (we're talking consistent four figure numbers).
When trying to negotiate a compromise, the SA rep maintained that what they are doing is not unusual and is done by many other books. This was obviously what he was told to say. Eventually we just gave up. You can't negotiate with someone who thinks they are 100% right and assumes all their customers are idiots.
This must be the single worst sportsbook program to deal with.
As a result we will not touch ANY of their other brands including Australia and UK. In fact we will advise players against joining them. If they treat their busienss partners like this then they cannot have culture of treating their players well.

Come to the conclusion that Sportingbet are they worst company going! Avoid at all costs.
These Sportingbet scumbags shut our account , no explanation, no reason, only a few really good players from a small but growing website, but the account is only open 6 months so no good reason to dump us really.
Have emailed them about 15 times, no answer.
Absolute scum of the earth, avoid them at all costs
Another one is Bwin - they shut our account with them as we hadnt sent them any players. Have you ever heard of anything so stupid in all your life? Shutting an account becuase it hasnt brought in any players within three months of opening it? So, in other words, preventing themselves EVER making money out of your site? The mind boggles at how these retards are still in business.
Anyway, Sportingbet + Bwin; stupid scumbags, stay away.
They both did you a favour as neither pay lifetime. You will make much more money without them.
cheers mate, youre dead right too.
I've been trying to get hold of anyone at Sportingbet affiliates for the past few months
I've had zero replies to:
sbaffiliates [at] sportingbet [dot] com
I tried all the people mentioned above:
james.arnold [at] sportingbet [dot] com
Craig.VanFlute [at] sportingbet [dot] com
claire.tribert [at] sportingbet [dot] com
and they all appear to have left
I found out today that Sportingbet were bought out a few months ago and the affiliates team was closed.
However I think the affiliate programme is still running - so who are we meant to contact?
There's no way to speak to anyone by email or phone - who is running the ship?
I removed them, they are a perfect example of how not to run an affiliate scheme. Useless.
