No single sports event has more bets associated with it than the Super Bowl. It’s an event that’s bigger than sports and the range of bets reflects the range of interest.

Last week we made three picks from three of Sports Interaction’s most popular Super Bowl bets – I like Pittsburgh +2.5, under 44.5 total points scored and the Steelers’ wide receiver Mike Wallace to win MVP at a very tempting price of +1600. This week we’ll cast the net wider for some other bets to make the most of the last football game until Canton in August.

There are a huge amount of player props available other than just MVP. For instance, Sports Interaction is offering odds on first touchdown scorer, touchdown scorer anytime and first touchdown scorer by particular team.

The odds are priced on who the teams’ go-to guys in the red zone are. The players on whom to you rely to get it done. Pittsburgh’s Rashard Mendenhall is the favorite to score the first touchdown at a price of +500 and then the Packers’ Greg Jennings is second favorite at +650 with Sports Interaction.

These are pretty tempting prices, but I really like the value on Aaron Rodgers getting Green Bay’s first score at +700. Jennings and James Starks are the favorites, but how about a play where Rodgers fakes a hand-off to Starks, the line lurches right while Rodgers – who’s pretty fast – loops around to the left flag? Aaron Rodgers first TD scorer for Green Bay at +700 is the bet.

Sports Interaction has been giving bettors the chance to buy points this season – we do this by offering alternate spreads on the game, where the payout is greater or lesser than the -110 standard on the Green Bay -2.5 line. So if you really like the Packers, you can buy two more points, and back Green Bay -4.5 at +130. Or if you think the Steelers will win straight up, Pittsburgh -2 pays out better than the moneyline. Pittsburgh -2 at +145 with Sports Interaction is the pick.

Finally, the last pick is more a recommendation. Sports Interaction will have live betting on the Super Bowl all during the game. There’ll be a number of markets running from the line, the moneyline, totals, next touchdown scorer and more. It really is a great way to make the most of the Super Bowl, and you don’t get your fingers all greasy from too many snacks. Bet live during the Super Bowl with Sports Interaction is the final pick of the week.

Enjoy the Super Bowl everybody!
