    Question Spreadsheet Feedback

Hey, this is a little different than most, but I kinda bank on that to make it stand out more - a google spreadsheet.

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1099170835

The sheet works as an "app" or a website - it has a dashboard, a lot of tabs, promotions tab and so on.

I am not the best with working with spreadsheets, and this was all built from scratch. It is terrible on mobile (the sheet has a lot of tabs), and I have no idea how to fix that, I tried stuff like embedding the spreadsheet into a webpage, export the sheet as HTML, but all I tried either looks way more broken or the links stop working.

What do you guys think? Do any of you use something similar? Any advice on how to optimise conversion with a sheet like that? I think the spreadsheet looks interesting, and it is certainly useful for some.

Any feedback or advice is appreciated!

Being totally honest, I'm not really even sure what it is you're trying to do or what the point of the sheet is?

    Maybe I'm missing something...

It shows multiple things - a betting clones database, promotions tracker and value betting tools coverage across all sites and then separated by each country, along with some notes about bookmakers (how quickly they limit, associations, welcome bonuses and so on).

The spreadsheet is primary targeted at those who are looking for bookmaker clones (so they can open account and get more money down or avoid certain bookmaker groups) and those who are new to value betting (they can check which betting tool supports bookmakers from their country).

I guess I need to make this more obvious

Seems pretty interesting. Although, tbh, I could only bear to browse around for 2 minutes before giving up.
It looks like a very good detailed database of bookmakers and all sorts of different attributes that apply to each one of them as well as their relations.

That said, I believe that you can use all of that to build out a website, where each tab, section, category, etc is a page filled with content related to what you are trying to show. Just embedding it on a page won't cut it imo.

I'm still not sure I get it.

I clicked the UK tab from the main tab (as that's my main geo) - it has Betfred marked in green for RebelBetting... what does that mean?

Yup, that is somewhat that I will probably do, convert the whole thing into a database and feed it to a webpage.

Yes, tried embedding and it went terrible

That means that RebelBetting supports +EV alerts for Betfred. RebelBetting compares odds to a sharp bookmaker/exchange and if it detects a +EV opportunity on Betfred, you would get an alert.

Next to it is BetBurger, which has Betfred marked as gray, which means they dont support it.

Thank you for the feedback, I now see that I must add some sort of a guide or a legend.

Ah OK. Yeah that wasn't totally obvious, I'd definitely suggest a legend. Maybe even some notes on the first tab to explain what the sheet does and how to use it.

Another comment is that just using colours could be problematic, eg: for someone that's colour blind. You might be better off using a green tick and a grey or greyed out cross instead.

Tbh personally I'd probably do it as a website, but I can see the angle you're getting at by using a sheet - it's less in your face commercial and could get shared around for info without people realising there are aff links involved.

I can see that it could be useful, but I found it overwhelming.

Firstly, I have some prior associations with spreadsheets, so as soon as I opened it, it evoked certain feelings. Additionally, at first glance, I wasn't sure what its purpose was, and as I navigated through it, I felt more lost because I wasn't sure what everything meant. It might help to clarify how it can be used, adding a legend and perhaps an interactive guide so people have a more amicable experience. Finally, the design didn't feel entirely cohesive within the spreadsheet, which wouldn't be an issue if it were for personal use, but since you're offering it to others, you might make it more attractive by turning it into a web page.

There is so much information in your spreadsheet - you must really think hard to come up with a way to show it on your website is a non-cluttered way. Incorporate filters or something like that. Good luck!
