    Default Starting My Own Sportsbook

    Hello everyone.
I have a decent paying customer base from a non-gambling related project, so i came up with idea to build my own sports book for them =). However, several white label vendors declined to work with me due to big part of my customers residing in country, where online sports betting is controlled exclusively by government. What I need is a complete solution: website, odds feed, risk management, agent service etc. I guess, I can handle payment processing and customer support by my current stuff.

My current customers wouldn't care whether or not i have any gambling license, so first question is, do i need any, if i'm not going to promote this sportsbook for "outsiders"? Who are industry leaders in stand alone solutions? Estimate costs?

I have a feeling that my demands are kind of standard, but struggling to find a right offer(s).

PS to mods: In case it's a wrong place for this thread, please move it somewhere relevant.

As to who will work with you - depends on the country of your intended business. If you intend in processing payments yourself, you will need a license, or to work under the umbrella has a white label (lower share). Lots of contingencies here, and very much dependent on your situation. Things like expected turnover, required content, business knowledge, legal constraints, languages, payments, whether you will assume all risk, competition and any parallels need to be taken into consideration!

Stating that your players would not care whether you had a license or not is not necessarily clear thinking.

They may in fact not care and bet freely, with or without one.

However, the first time one player gets upset, for whatever reason, and you do not pay their extortion if they demand a payment for a losing bet they thought should win or whatever, could very well lead to them notifying the various government agencies that you are operating without one.

Such a scenario could in fact get very messy very fast, depending on what country you are operating from and where you live.
