Startup costs and legalities
I am sending this messagl in hopes of finding a way to earn money as an affiliate. Where do I start? Is it legal in USA to do so? How much is the start up cost? How mush is the potential earnings as an affiliate? Thank you for your time.

Hi RFTaylor?
First, this is not an investment you would expect to get returns right away, not after a month or two; unless you're lucky. It needs persistence. You need to have a good site (s), always updated with unique content (postings, audio or videos).
As for the investment, it will depend on whether you will be the one doing the designs, or the content.
A little bit tricky in the USA I would say from my view but there are states that have regulated gambling. You need to carryout research on this a little bit; but if you're in the USA, you can still target other markets.
Hope my comment will shed some light. hope other professionals in the industry will follow through and enlighten more. All the Best

Its legal in USA if you are operating in the countries where online gambling is licensed (like NJ..)
You'll have to apply for affiliate license and once approved by authorities you are good to go.
Potential earnings is depending on your success like in every other business field.

Affiliate web-site is like any other site.
You need to make it unique and promote on the net, like money hungry wolf.
Good luck with your site!
