Strange Not Found in webmaster tools
Hey guys, on one of our sites, for the past few days there have been about 20-30 Not Found errors that are like this -
kamagra-oral-jelly-kaufen-schweiz/
doxycycline-the-generics-pharmacy/
buy-cialis-london/
finasterid-rezeptfrei-schweiz/
orlistat-alli-dosage/
robaxin-over-the-counter-united-states/
buy-viagra-in-brisbane/
lisinopril-online-canadian-pharmacy/
Obviously these URLS never existed on our site so not sure why they are there? Ran a malware check and no malware on the site. Could it be a plugin?
TIA
Thanks

My guess is you´ve been hacked, if your own malware tests came up with nothing - Id suggest getting some professional advice.
Good Luck!

It would be wise to check some of this against links pointing at the site.
What could be happening is links pointing at your site that are mal-formed. It could easily be something like
http://domain.com/robaxin-over-the-c...united-states/
This would return a 404 looking for a nonexistent page.
Cardy could also be correct since on a quick search for robaxin-over-the-counter-united-states/ a few of the first page results redirected to xxmedstore-24hr.com which are linked in some way to the hacks on some sites (such as the real estate site with a hacked page)

Agreed with Universals thoughts.
We get quite a few not found pages in webmaster tools - and they all seem to come from automated aggregator sites that use bots and have problems with the length or urls (truncated) or can't handle - or _ in the URL.
While it's not quite the same - it shows that a bad link from another site can generate the message.
I don't think the pages are on your site (given the 404 page not found response) or that your site has been hacked - neither does google.
It is annoying though - I just delete them from the report and if it happens too often I find the site and their IP address and block them for access our site in htaccess to prevent any more being added.

Checked the links in WMT and around 250 spammy links pointing to the site so have disavowed them, will see if it keeps happening.
