    Default Strange results at Playright.co.uk

Came across a strange thing when looking at sites ranking in Google search.

If you google "mansionbet" in the UK and then click the Playright.co.uk result, do a bit of scrolling up and down the page and then try and click back to the search results you are unable to do so. Ive tried this on both mobile and desktop (Firefox and Chrome) and seem to get the same results for a lot of the their ranking keywords; sky bingo, gala bingo, buzz bingo etc.

Any idea how playright are doing this? I'd imagine it's having a very positive affect on their rankings due to bounce rate.

Pretty blackhat in my opinion, I think it is something to do with their page menu/ table of contents

It's JavaScript that prevents user to go back. Works on most browsers. Use Google for more info.

since google is all about ranking user friendly informative sites, i can't imagine that they are going to be happy with this. as this is absolutely not user friendly, and google can perfectly read and executive javascript, i can imagine that sooner or later action will be taken against this.

Well it has been going on for many years and they never have taken action.

    I'm surprised. i found this one, https://www.seroundtable.com/google-...ngs-23415.html
google said it won't impact your rankings, not negative, but also not positive as "bounce backs don't influence rankings in google".

Personally i still don't like it (actually hate it, just like disabling the right mouse button, or having popups).
