    Default Study says elevated testosterone is bad for your poker game

    The study was done on a group of 20 women, all between the ages of 19 and 26, wherein across two sessions each had temporarily elevated the levels of testosterone or were given a placebo. The experiment featured heads-up poker and focused on the art of bluffing.

    I guess it's not too surprising that higher levels of testosterone, with all else being equal, leads to more fancy play syndrome. To me, this indicates an even bigger need for mental game preparation for men who have higher levels of testosterone.
