    Default Stupid Affiliate program FAQs

I'm tired of reading stupid Affiliate program faq's like "How can I make money?", "When I will be paid?", "Does is cost anything to become an Affiliate?" and other super-newbie questions and nowhere telling us the important stuff, like what countries they accept players from.

Is it pure copy-paste-stupidity or do they intentionally make it vague what countries they accept players from?

I believe it is a copy paste stupidity. Never underestimate it.

The simple issue - which countries they accept traffic from - nearly no affiliate manager knows. It also drives me mad. Usually I have 3 different sets of countries: one gathered from dropdown menu on gambling websites; second is some usually outdated info from the affiliate site; third is the info from affiliate manager.

The best is when some unnamed fukers and sponsors from GPWA - who neither accept US or EU traffic tell me: send us all the traffic, we will handle it.

Idiocy. Everywhere. There is no intention, the traffic from me really goes to blocked page (some casinos redirect it, but that is a different story). They gain nothing from that. Just they pay more for servers and they **** off affiliates.

The affiliate managers probably don't know (aside from a small handful of AMs who are actually dedicated to their work and have been around for years, communicating on a regular basis with their affiliates and their affiliate team) from which countries are accepted and which ones are restricted. I know what you're saying. All of the FAQs are too basic, and it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out. I think all they care about at the end of the day is if you're able to bring them traffic and be able to convert for them (bring them as many players as possible). Also, generating further exposure for their brands and increasing revenue is absolutely essential. That's it. I find it annoying too that I can't find the answers that I'm looking for regarding programs, and I have to Google it.

I would like to know how you "Google that info".

The only way how to know whether the country accepts some players or not is to use some IP changer and register country by country or state by state. And even that does not help a lot.

Speaking about states - maybe you are aware that in the USA the programs restrict certain states (the most restricted is NJ). But I think not many people are aware that in Canada most CA focused programs are restricting Quebec. So 25% of precious Canadian traffic goes directly to garbage bin. No one told me about that, we found it out by ourselves.

I just do a search for the name of the program, and I can either search for a casino review or use AskGamblers to see the program details in depth.

Thank you Sherlock for letting me know about the restrictions. I do know in some cases, that the traffic can be blocked or redirected to another completely unrelated site(s) and we affiliates suffer the consequences of this utter rubbish.

Yes I forgot that the 4th source of restricted countries are on other affiliate websites. They are quite often also wrong / not updated. The only way is to test by ourselves.

I would imagine it's just filler... either that or they see other sites doing it so think they need to.

I'm definitely sure it's because of copy-paste-stupidity. But you know I all the time check the available currencies, VPN and try to register. Or try to search another reviews to figure it out. But I feel you.. It's really annoying.

It is not just annoying and source demanding to manually check everything. Completely different level is to keep checking. How am I supposed to know that 1xbet stopped to work in Chile? Or that 22bet does not work in Turkey anymore?

And completely different level is where they do not restrict players, but the country is blocking the traffic. Hi ******* Estonia. The bookies indeed know where they are blocked, they just do not share that info.

I never look at what others have on their sites. Instead,

I always open a casino account with VPN + made-up details and then collect everything myself.

And if I really cannot find something I need, there is always a live chat at hand.

I simply don't trust others as if there are any mistakes; I will look like a dik head in front of myself with having bul sshit on my site.

Sometimes I look for information in the casino terms, but often it differs from the one available after registration.

Usually, it's with casinos from the same group.

Still, there are some programs that, after opening an account with them, provide you with a proper breakdown of everything available for each country, they are active in. I think that's how it should be.
