Sweepstake slot model???

For everyone that is involved with casino startups/existing casinos, why aren't there more sweepstake model casinos? Apparently it is a loophole to get around the USA online gambling laws (if you would even consider it a law). It seems like a legit way to run a casino, yet there are very few companies that exist with this platform. In fact, I think there are only two companies, whichever one owns global poker/chumba, and funpoints. I would think more people would want to get into this are of the industry. All feedback and opinions welcome.

Mainly, it is NOT a legitimate way to get around the gambling laws.

And in fact, over the years, some sweepstakes that were not casinos have been shut down or run afoul of the US Government for breaking such rules.

do you think it’s just a matter of time before global poker gets shut down? They have been around for a little bit now.

Maybe I should have clarified, I'm referring to online sweepstakes betting (funzpoints, global poker), not brick and mortar sweepstakes establishments. Not sure if that changes your opinion.
