    Default Targeting Scandinavian countries

I was in the pub yesterday with one of my swedish friends and randomly we got onto the topic of search engines. Something that I found really interesting was that he said when he was in sweden (before he moved to the UK) he would often search in english using google.se rather than using swedish - said it basically depended on what kind of information he was looking for and if he thought he'd get more results in english or swedish.

Is he an anomaly or are there people in sweden/norway who are using the swedish google but searching in english?

I think its very normal here to search in english using google.fi (in Finland). I can see it happens every day at school, work and home. Same in Sweden / Norway, I guess.
