    Default The tech behind bet365

Sometimes, Buzzy just needs to get geeky. And it doesn't get geekier than this story. TechWorld has a great story on how bet365 turned to Erlang as a programming solution, and the role WhatsApp played in its decision making. Get your geek on!

I'm not a big fan of Bet365's technical solution as it's laggy and requires Flash. They will pat themselves on the back for a job well done just like any other tech team, but I don't know what the fuss is about.

Personally I think Bet365's system is fast and has low latency I wish all affiliate programs used a variation of it.

Some of the other system, from an affiliate point of view are really slow. I hate having to wait 30 seconds to bring up banners. Net Refer is the worst its practically a slug (and I have a 160Mbit connection).
You can find Casino Bonus and news on Casino gamer.

It's not ideal but it's pretty quick for me, the only think I hate is not being able to copy/paste or use CTRL+F to find a market.

Only ONE of the problems with flash is that over time, flash just continues to eat more and more memory the longer you have pages and tabs open that use flash. Of curse Firefox will do this without flash....sigh...but it takes longer and gives you more browsing time before a browser refresh is needed.

Plus it can be problematic on mobile devices, but I am sure some of that can be overcome by apps written.

It does appear that more and more web properties overall are moving away from flash, so it would seem that at some point they might have to abandon flash.
