Default Do you earn commission on rake from a player who has never deposited?

I haven't been promoting poker NDB's / freerolls at all yet, but have a question. If a player joins through my links, wins a freeroll and then goes on to generate rake using the winnings (though never making a deposit) would that be classed as an active player that I would earn commission on?

I've been wondering this for a while... Apologies if it's a stupid question!

Kind of depends on the brand. I have earned from non-depositing players in the past, can't recall what sites earn and what ones don't anymore. As I recall though, Microgaming only pays on "Real Money Players" (depositing).

Personally I feel that if a player generates rake for a brand, we should earn our share regardless if they deposit or not. But that is just my greed kicking in.

    Hey there!

Yes you can earn commissions from a customer that has not made a deposit. If the player wins a free roll for example then the player will have a balance and you will earn commission from whatever the player has raked.

    I hope that helps!

I know that for Go Wild Casino, which is on microgaming, they have paid out commissions on players that win tournaments or other free money, without ever making a deposit. This is for casino, of course, not poker.

Our program also pays a percentage of rake regardless of whether the player has ever deposited

If you are wrking on a revenue share basis with any company then you should get paid, the player is raking so the site is making money simple as that, same should be said for free money in the sports book and casino.

    Good luck.

That's what I was hoping would be the case, but didn't want to assume!
