Thread dissapearing

I am pretty sure that at least one thread which i read yesterday suddenly dissapeared. Have anyone noticed something like that?

Do you mean the spam threads, or the threads where people are trying to buy/sell betting accounts to circumvent gambling bans?

I think we know why both types get deleted.

Of course, but that's not what i meant. There was some complaint regarding Gorilla partners that i wanted to see how it resolves, but it's just vanished.

can't see GPWA deleting threads about sponsors, completely ignoring them and not fully doing anything, yes, but not just deleting them

There is actually some restrictions on post editing after a certain amount of time, I forget what the time factor is.

The reason for this is that as Shay mentioned, there have been times where someone would post something and then after a few comments would edit the bulk of what they had to say out of their post, leaving the thread a mess and not making any sense. (that thread was completely removed and thread participants were notified)

In the case of spam type threads, or threads which only purpose is to advertise a product or service which has little if anything to do with our industry, will often just disappear. This will also sometimes happen when there is suspected shilling taking place. (another form of spam)

In the case of the posts that had to do with selling of accounts, were merged into a single thread and moved to the affiliate program's forum. In that particular case, we have taken Gooner's comments under advisement and it will likely disappear also.

I also know of one instance where a member started a thread and then shortly after the post the OP asked the Administrator for it to be moved into the moderation que. There were no additional posts in the thread I am referencing here, so no additional notifications were needed in this case.
