tiers or tears

i am new to this affiliate game, and wish to know if the tiers programs actually do work, as some affiliate programs are advertising 10 tiers, any one had any success on these ??

They work, but they don't make you a whole lot of money as a rule.

Many subaffiliates never really get off the ground. I have always wished that one's subaffiliates be known, so one can help them do better.

This is the only sales force I've ever seen where the sales manager doesn't know the sales people. Which is what it amounts to.
