Time posts study on online poker

Time.com has posted an interesting article today online poker, and raised an interesting idea: The more hands you win, the more money you're likely to lose.

This is according to sociology doctoral student Kyle Siler of Cornell University. He analyzed 27 million online poker hands using a software program called PokerTracker to see how humans handle risk, reward and variable payoffs.

Its the same principle as casino. Players who win and get larger balances end up staying and losing it all and more

Of course the more you play the more likely you are to loose.

He also noticed that it was novice players who lost the most.

Really, you have to be a doctorate student at Cornell to figure that one out.
