    Default ePassporte

One of our reporters has been trying to get his ePassporte account open and money into it for a while. He started the process on Jan. 15, and there's no money in the account yet. But they told us because of the sheer volume of inquiries they're processing, things are going a bit slow. Here's a quick look at how the process has gone so far:

Jan. 17: Sign up for new account.
    Jan. 25 : Microdeposits arrive.
Jan. 25: Microdeposits verified with ePassporte.
    Jan. 25: Deposit request made.
Jan. 26.: Money taken from reporter's bank account
Jan. 26-Feb. 5: No money in ePassporte account. Customer support line always busy.
Feb. 6: After days of trying to get through to the ePassporte customer line to find out where the money is, reporter calls the business line instead (sneaky reporter ), gets transferred to a customer service representative who tells him to be patient because they've been innundated with requests and are processing them as quickly as they can.

We'll keep you posted and let you know how this turns out.

    Default More ePassporte details

Still no money in our reporter's ePassporte account.

So far, the process has taken three weeks with officials at this e-wallet continuing to site high-customer volume as the reason for the delay. According to an ePassporte customer service representative, the money should appear in our reporter's account by the end of the week.

Here is a quote from the ePassporte Web site.

"Due to unusually high call and email volumes, you may experience extended hold times when calling us or there may be a delay receiving a response to your email inquiry. We apologize for the inconvenience. We are exerting all efforts so that we may attend to your phone calls and emails as soon as possible. Your calls and emails will be answered in the order they are received. We appreciate your patience and cooperation."
Casino City will update this thread as more information becomes available.

    Default ePassporte works!

After three weeks of tested patience, the Casino City ePassporte test is complete....and the results are....

It worked! Our reporter received his/her deposited money and successfully transfered the funds to an UltimateBet.com account.

The good news is - online gamblers have a viable option e-wallet option.

The bad news is - the entire process took exactly three weeks.

Many U.S. players will use the ePassporte option because there are few funding sources available. But the delays may cause some to get frustrated.

Are you located in the United States or elsewhere?

I have heard that ePassporte has or is currently planning on prohibiting gambling transactions initiated from within the USofA.

Yes, we are in the United States. We were testing ePassporte because many sites were promoting the as U.S. friendly. As of now, they're accepting U.S. gambling transactions. We'll see if we can find out anything about their future plans.

I was told today by an aff manager that they were no longer opening up business accounts from online gambling companies.

It was an option I was considering. I am not sure if they are and will continue to allow existing online gambling business accounts to make transactions.

On the other hand, I had only opened up an epassporte account a few days ago, added my funding method on Feb 6 and got the micro deposit today. So my experience in that way was pretty good. I have not made any transactions as of yet.

    Unhappy

I opened up an account with Epassporte yesterday, but have yet to find a casino that accepts it. The sign up process was easy and I was able to fund my account with a credit card instantly after I finished the verification process with my credit card. The only sites I have been able to find are poker rooms like Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet, but I am not a poker player. If anyone knows of any casinos that take Epassported, please post here. Thanks.

Yes, I have an Ecocard account that I've used successfully. Of course, I have an account with every method available to US players. I opened them a couple of years ago when I updated my deposits page, so I could tell players about them.

Ewalletxpress is another option. It's working fine too. I've checked it out myself. No problems.

There is another, Netspend, where people buy a preloaded visa at a retail outlet, and then can reload it online. I looked up an outlet, and there are a couple available locally, but I just haven't been to the store yet to make the purchase. Not sure whether withdrawals can be credited back or not.

So, there are a few options still available, at least for now. Actually, the more quality options available the better.

    Thumbs up

I did find a bingo hall where I was able to use E-passporte (www.bingomania.com) and it worked fine. I was really surprised that I was able to fund it using my credit card, although my credit card company called me to verify the charge, so I don't know if they will continue to do that everytime I fund it. Hopefully, more casinos will start using this method.

I have an EcoCard account but have not used it. It seems the only way US customers can fund the account is with with a bank transfer and you have to do it through your bank and cannot do it online through EcoCard.

Default ewalletexpress funding ok for USA

I have been using ewalletexpress for Instant wire deposits, the casinos that except US players let you fund your account with ewalletexpress if it is offered at the casino but so far I have yet to see a casino to let me use it to withdrawal. Very strange

    Default hi

I have been getting emails from bingo halls stating Epassporte is no longer being accepted as they are no longer doing transactions with online bingo halls. Anyone hearing info that Epassporte is cutting off online gambling transactions? They were the next best thing to Neteller. Very similar, fees higher tho.

From what information I got from the casinos and bingo halls that I queried, Epassporte will start handling only poker rooms. They are pulling out from the bingo halls and casinos. I talked to support at Worldwide Vegas last week and they said that Epassporte was no longer going to handle gambling transactions from the casinos, so its not just US customers, they are pulling out altogether from the casinos and bingo halls. But I guess they don't consider the poker rooms as gambling??? Makes no sense to me, but hey, what do I know.
