    Default Trump & Online Gambling

There was an article written today in iGamingBusiness regarding New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had signed a bill urging President Trump oppose legislation that would prevent online gambling.

The article can be read here: http://www.igamingbusiness.com/news/...-online-gaming

Although online gambling could be could for New Jersey and other states Trump has his own interests in his brick and mortar casinos. However, not only is his interest in his own properties it has been reported that Trump received a lot of money during his campaign from Sheldon Adelson who continues to invest money to stop online gambling at the federal level.

Based on Trump's relationship with cash supporters it is questionable if Chris Christie will be successful.

    Sheldon Adelson
He's probably the most anti-online poker person in the world in terms of influence. Bad for my business he is. He's old and looks in ill health so maybe his influence won't last too many more years.

It's FAKE NEWS - Just joking!!

Adelson thinks he can take it all with him!! He's basically made his money from casino's and wants to protect his interest. In America they call it lobbying, the rest of the world call it bribery!

The American understanding of democracy is somewhat different to what it should be!

It's not only US now (although they are definitely "better"). but it's everywhere
3rd world bribery is first world lobbying

Can't argue with that sentiment - It's just that they do it openly and think it's normal. In America the difference between 30 years in prison for bribery and being a legal lobbyist is a fine line. What's that saying, ''in business you always have one foot in the prison door''!!
