    Default TV Commercials & Infomercials

    Hello,

As an affiliate, what do you think about TV commercials and infomercials on playing/learning
    Poker online.

I think it's fair since casinos are sometimes legal to some countries and should be treated with equal advertising rights. But it should be aired I think in a more "safe" format, at least for the minors.

    Hi raphnix,

    Thank you for the feedback.

There are some affiliates/affiliate networks in the non-gaming world that will not
take merchants that haven't done enough branding advertising and even promote
    themselves "As Seen On TV".

As a gaming affiliate, will you prefer to promote a program that have already done
their work on branding via traditional TV advertisement.

    Cheers,

    I hate it

    Reasons:

    1. As an affiliate, you usually can NOT use the "as seen on tv logo", only the sponsor can

    2. They usually don't pay much.

    3. Too many affiliates jump on and saturate the market.

    4. Im selfish

Now, if you can jump on a program, that has PLAN to be on tv, and develop a base like 6 months prior, Life is good !! This way, the Affiliate has some real estate, and the TV show odes better when consumers do research

    My 2 cents

It might be ok for the "big guys" but for the average affiliate I would think its a none starter.

Perhaps if your "top dog" for your main key words.

Bookmakers and Casinos are now free to advertise on British TV but not many have taken it up, apart from one or two of the real big players.

Radio may be a better option for affiliates.

    Hello,

I've heard the feedback from some affiliates some time ago about not liking
the addition of the webaddress on the TV commercials.
They were afraid that will override (cookies) their first connection with a potential player.

On another side, other affiliates were fine with that because it creates more branding
and recognition for the programs that are promoting on their websites.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    Cheers,
