    Default A twitter idea

I have created a Twitter page as a hub for my websites.
    https://twitter.com/Justwebsites
I have already made about six of my websites point to it via Twitter Tools, and am thinking of adding ALL of them.
So my question is: Will I get any SEO value out of this or am i just wasting my time?

    That's a great idea!!

The search engines are giving more and more attention to Twitter. So this will for sure get you some traffic.. the question is would this SE love last? I remember back in the squidoo days people were putting lots of attention to it.. and then.. plap!! the slap came and all of those high ranking squidoo sites went to the sand box!

I think is good to do those twitter sites, but certainly would not invest too much time and resources on it. Better to spread your SEO resources and also focus on the "old school" proven tactics.

    Hope this helps

    Default Internet Noise

I personally feel that unless you truly have a fan or subscriber base that want to follow you on Twitter then you are only adding to the 'internet noise'.

My opinion is not to waste time on stuff that is not real. Having thousands of social links that are artificially created is just adding to the noise and litter of the internet.

I would rather put my energy into solid information that will create solid back links.

With this Google Caffeine being rolled out, are there really any "old school" proven tactics that still work ? It seems as if the landscape has changed exponentially, with the rollout of Caffeine.

One of the most powerful and "old school" tactics to build a web presence that goes beyond SEO and Google Caffeine is RELATIONSHIPS. Connect with other sites and webmasters on helping each other and everybody wins!

When I posted this I wasn't sure if it would be useful, but I have just found out that my original Twitter page (JustArsenal) is now PR4.

And as of today all three of my top keywords are on the first page of Google. And my most important keyword (Arsenal transfer rumours) rates #1 and #2 in the UK

Now i am SURE its a good idea!

Hi Paul, yes I know Twitter (and most of the big Social sites) are nofollow, but you can never convince me that Google doesnt take any notice of them!
