Twitter search problems

I went onto Twitter today to try and add lots of similar minded people to my account, but it seems that the "search" function is up the creek.

I was looking at the "How to increase your Twitter followers" post and was trying to follow everyone's advice. but they wont let me!

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Yes, it has been that way for atleast the last 3 or 4 days .. thats when I first noticed it anyway.

I heard everywhere some several problems regarding twitter. Recently i encounter a log in problems on my twitter account. I believe the reason why errors keep coming is because they still doing a site maintenance.

Yes I guess there was some site maintenance in twitter. To answer your question about increasing followers on twitter, have you ever tried the software Tweet Meme or something (not sure about the name). I had just used once long back. Basically the software finds twitter ids of your niche and then allows you to follow them at one go. You just end up following 1000s of twitter ids and eventually within a week or so, those people follow you back and your followers are increased too

It did not help me much as the number of people I was following was around 8 times more than the number of followers I had, on my id

But it might help you if you have a different niche... so give it a try

I just found this site called : twellow.com where you can add the people of your own niche instead of randomly following other twitters. Check it out it has helped me a lot for increasing my followers.
