    Pure propaganda.

78 and 80yo Genovese crime family members listed as the prime movers - racketeering listed as the main crime.
"Racketeering" that generic financial charge that sounds bad but no-one knows exactly what it is.
Players with debts "threatened with violence" ...

It all reads like a bad episode of a Hollywood crime drama.

I can't make up my mind whether this sort of script :
    - is being used by NJ officials as an example of why it's all got to be regulated (and taxed) locally ..
    - or is being used by Sheldon Adelson to show why all online gambling is bad.

More fear-mongering from the US media. Chasing after the American market is currently a fool's errand, and will be for years to come with so many "elected" politicians in the pockets of influential billionaires, who block online gambling in order to protect their own monopoly.

This is true propaganda. They are already in the sentence stage of their cases but now the press releases this after the changes coming in nj. This had to be an on going investigation they were probably indicted at least a year ago,, giving their attorneys time to negotiate a plea deal, and offer cooperation of course.

I think this is just a ploy to instill fear in affiliates and rightly so, however affiliates don't act with violence and threats. My two cents
