How does VAT work with Gamesys?

After 7 years outside of the UK, I am considering moving home and incorporating.

One of my main accounts is Gamesys and I was wondering how they deal with VAT? If an aff is VAT registered, will they pay the VAT on top? I have few outgoings to be able to claim VAT back so the answer to this question will probably make or break whether i return to the UK.

In Gibraltar yes but as an EU Zone doing business outside their country they are obliged to pay VAT in the UK if using UK services, Same if in Germany, they can use a reverse charge or claim it back but it does not let them escape paying VAT in other countries,.

They're based in Gibraltar? In that case a commission of € 1.000, I invoice as € 1.000 with 0% VAT, because Gibraltar is not EU. If they would be based in for example Sweden, I would apply for reverse VAT charge, neither there wouldn't be any VAT on the invoice. Just if they're in the same country as where I am based and VAT is for example 19%...

In that case, 19% is VAT, so I invoice € 810 commission and € 190 VAT. Or somehow, they must pay extra for my VAT, than it would be € 1.000 + 19% VAT, but the last case isn't happening that much.

The best thing is to ask an accountant. Tax things can be a game changer if it's about where to live.

Since GameSys and Mice And Dice share the same adress and Mice and Dice previously have been named "GameSys..." and GameSys have several companies, one is in Jersey which doesn't use VAT and Mice and Dice doesn't have a VAT-number but GameSys does for some of it's companies but both are located in UK, and GameSys does not answer my emails about this issue.
The conclussion is that I have a headache and I wont deal with this ****.

There offices are actually close to where I live in sunny Stoke On Trent

I would email and ask them for clarification. It's all done for them to pay lower tax. Surprised companies don't register in Ireland like I think Amazon and Facebook do an pay next to little tax.

I ask Gamesys the VAT question every year and its the same answer and as far as I am aware nothing has changed in the past few months. Payments are made from Gibraltar therefore does not come under UK VAT.
