    Hi,

Also, so you are all aware, June's US traffic statistics will also be updated along with July's figures being visible.

Please check your statistics this evening to ensure that both June and July's stats are visible for all of your US traffic.

    Thanks,

    Default Update on US Traffic

    Hi again,

There has been an unforeseeable technical error in the live data feed, which means there will be a delay of up to 48 hours in the visibility of US player traffic in your accounts.

We sincerely apologise for this delay. We can assure you that we are working overtime to get this problem resolved ASAP.

    Thanks for your patience,

    Vegas Affiliates

I am still a little unsure as to where we will see the US Player data.

Will we be able to determine the difference between a US Player and players from other countries?

    Default Us Player Stats

    Hi,

To clear this up, all player activity will be fed into their previous player ID, in which case nothing changes. So you will see these players exactly as you saw them in May. The activity of US players will not be viewed seperately.

I hope this clarifies your point.

    Kind regards,

Is everything ok with your stats? I don't see any activity for July. Where are my players? I have never had zero activity.

Same for me. Nothing for July, very un-typical for my US players. June was extremely strange from my players. I'm not very comfortable with mgs when it comes to US players anymore. I will most likely be phasing out most of my MGS programs. They are just to flighty for my taste. I don't have luck with non us traffic so I am going to do a big makeover on my sites with programs that take US players.

    Default US stats

    Dear Affiliate,

We regret to inform you that the figures for the US traffic do not look too positive at this time. <o></o>
    <o></o>
As we advised by mail, we have put a team in place to make sure the migration is sweetened by nice promotional offers for the US players. But as it stands we did not manage to convince all of the players to activate their account on the new platform. This is very regrettable. <o></o>
    <o></o>
We, like any other operator had expected to lose some players by the migration which we had to perform, although the extent of loss is rather larger than expected. We are, however, continuing to send out reactivation campaigns to increase the player base again and expect to see a steady increase.<o></o>
    <o></o>

    Kindest regards,

I have been quietly following this thread to try and understand what is going on.

Communication from VA has been terrible. After repeated emails to get clarification on how things will work, I received nothing (more than 2 months now).

As far as I am concerned it is still guessing game. Why can you not just post one reply that explains exactly what you have done. We received an explanaiton from your competition 2 months ago!

The only communication I have received in 2 months from you is an email last week trying to get me to increase your exposure! I nearly choked. I replied that I want a clear explanation re the US situation and did I get a response? No.

I maintain that this is suspicious. If people do not answer simple questions, I consider it to be suspicious behavior until proiven wrong.

Data migration in thius industry has been a nightmare and at this point you are doing nothing for people to trust you.

I also received the 'more exposure' email and the regular newsletter. Disappointing that neither mentioned the US player migration.

I replied back to Daniela as follows on 16/7 and haven't heard back yet:

Not quiet sure what you mean by inactive. I have been receiving a commission payment for the last few months. Sure, I went a while without receiving one, however, that was due to all the negative revenue amounts appearing in my statistics without any corresponding deposits. This was never satisfactorily explained at the time and wiped out the other player revenue. I was not the only one to suffer continual loses with months on end.

After seeing some promise when Monica started, the program appears to be struggling again. I was adopting a wait and see attitude and will continue to do so. The implementation of the move for the US players was poorly handled and the effects are still being seen. Once I see some stability with the program I will then have a think about increasing the promotion.

Just to add one more thing. The post in GPWA about not getting the US player migration up to the levels you hoped was very surprising. Vegas Affiliates properties have always enjoyed some of the best retention rates around. It has been one of the things that kept a lot of us hanging on rather than completely dumping the program when silly things happened with the failed implementation of the statistics back when Henry was there and the utter disregard Sebastian had for affiliates last year.

I find the number of affiliates experiencing these continual losses highly suspicous! Am I out of line?

    Default US Players

    Dear Affiliates,

We understand that this has been a frustrating transition, but it has also been a necessary one. With the policies put in place regarding US traffic we were forced to move those players over to the new .net sites. Although this operation has had some hiccups it has successfully tracked all US traffic to the correct IDs. This was no easy feat, but we have ensured that there were no errors before we were able to give affiliates access to this data. While there have been inevitable repercussions we are striving to correct this through incentivizing these players and we are constantly contacting them with the latest offers and promotions.
During this procedure we were keeping affiliates informed, and even when there were delays we were proactive in making affiliates aware so that there were no further misunderstandings. Now that we have completed the process we are proactively reaching out to these players to try and make them aware of the rewards they are eligible for as a Vegas VIP Lounge member.
We are taking a more proactive role in informing our valued partners, hence the alert about reduction in US player activities. We were hoping you would appreciate this transparent approach, rather than looking at your stats and wondering what the reason could be for decreased activity. We are aiming at keeping you informed about further developments as and before they happen and kindly ask you to re-engage with us to work on a mutually successful relationship.

    Kind regards,

    Vegas Affiliates

You claim to have kept affiliates informed. I have not received an email from you and have not had a response to any emails.

Please just explain things properly for once.

Will the new .net sites appear in stats and if so when?

    When did the change happen?

You ask us to re engage but you wont tell us what you did! How can you claim to be proactive? That is insulting. We are not fools.

    Default US Players

    Hi,

We are surprised to see that you have not received a response to your email on the 22nd, as we have a record of a reply being sent on the 23rd. Please make sure that our emails are not going into a spam folder.

Regarding the migration of US players, the steps we took have been carefully documented in these threads and we have kept affiliated updated at all points. It has been repeatedly stated that US players have been moved and their statistics are viewable in your accounts.

    Kind regards,
    Vegas Affiliates

I never received any emails either - but figured why even bother; at this time this program seems to be spiraling down into an abyss.

Sounds like Henry is back in town.

    Default US Players

    Hi,<o></o>
    <o></o>
First of all you should have received an email regarding this issue, which explained all of the migration issues. Please ensure that these emails have not been blocked due to any legal issues in the US and have not gone to a Spam folder. You have also been in contact with an affiliate Manager who would always be willing to go over any details in depth.<o>

</o> We are very disappointed about the decrease in US player activity, and as you can understand this negatively effects us as well. In this case there is nothing we could do. It is something that was dictated by US legislation and the migration was completed as efficiently as it could possibly have been. We do encourage our US affiliates to concentrate on driving some non-US traffic, as this is one way that statistics can be balanced by the unfortunate, but inevitable, loss of some US players. <o></o>
    <o></o>
    Kind regards,<o></o>
