Hi GPWA'ers,
Quick question regarding keyword optimization.
If i optimize my home page with the keyword 'slots', is there a problem if i optimize content pages for the word 'slots' also?
Thanks in advance for any input

No, in fact, in order to be able to rank even in the top 100 sites for a competitive term like that it is probably a requirement to have many thousands of pages that are optimized for some aspect of slots cross-linked to each other with the main page being to one you really hope to be optimized on that term and with the other pages being optimized for long-tail terms that include that term. As an example, the slots section of online casino city (online.casinocity.com/slots) which has pages on nearly 1,500 online slot games linked together, does not even rank in the top 100 sites for the single term "slots" even though it generates quite a bit of traffic on various slot-related long tail terms.

Well if Google is going to use page load times as a factory for rankings, you could help yourself 206kb by gzipping your site to save 206kb?
But 1,500 online slot games linked together? Impressive
Apologies, just for clarification should i use the KW 'slots' on main home page and the exact same KW 'slots' on an inner content page, or should it be a variant e.g. 'free slots' or both?
Thanks again for any input.
Cheers
Chris
