VC are not paying affiliate commissions

Has anyone else had trouble with VC this month? We have worked with them for a while on our site. In the month of June we made well over a £1000 in commission. I wrote to them asking them to now pay the money as I had updated my payment instructions. I then got a reply to this saying they were changing me to CPA instead of Rev Share and they would not pay the money owed. This I think is just a way of dodging payment on their part as I have sent them lots of customers who gamble a lot and seem to lose.

Maybe they are struggling like Bet Internet, does anyone know anything?

I can not afford to not get paid from the gentleman’s Bookmaker this month, anyone know what I can do apart from take them to court to get my money?

I believe you have been contacted and given the reasons for the changes to your account; and the subsequent removal of your commissions.

As you may be aware we are unable to discuss any matters on a public forum for Data Protection purposes, but for the benefit of other users of the forum - and for future reference - the decision to withold affiliate commission is never based on the amount of commission owed. It simply does not make business sense to withold affiliate commissions and incur a drop in promotion for no reason.

This sounds very odd, why would they want to change you TO a CPA model?

Usually it's the other way around, when those on a CPA model deliver a low quality player being switched to a revshare model.

At least you still have a functioning account after migration i lost all data and my credentials are no longer accepted. Dropped this outfit because communication with them is non existent...

Viriatu, I'm sorry to hear that.

I've been with VC since May 2010 and since then I've made sure that our communication is a lot more frequent and also readily available to affiliates. We've added live chat to our affiliate page, the frequency of newsletters has increased and we are currently working on an improved blog, RSS feed, Facebook group, Twitter etc.

Other than that I had no other proper explanation. I am new to this affiliate programs and terrified at the ease at which they can refuse to pay as I have spend lots of time and effort promoting my site, please advise are their any other bad payers.

Your referred accounts have been highlighted by our trading department due to certain irregularities in their betting patterns.

We appreciate that you may have not known of this issue as you are not aware of your referred account’s activity.

However these accounts have been highlighted as contrary to our clause of Good Faith stated in the Victor Chandler Affiliates Terms and Conditions. Hence we have not choice but to close your account in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

If so many people have had problems with VC then why wait until now to mention it. I actually find them one on my most trusted programs and would never hestiate about promoting them as I know I will get paid on or around the 10th of every month.

I know some people may have had issues in the migration and that's fair enough, but the team their are always honest and upfront when I have dealt with them.

Example, one of my players decided to self exclude and VC couldn't pay out for 6 months just in case of a charge back or fraud situation. They contacted me after 6 months to tell me the funds were available now - I think thats pretty good for a program to do that.

It seems that they are a law upon themselves. If I never paid my customers they would take me to court and rightly so. I just hope that they are not a bunch of crooks and pay me what I am owed, a revenue share from the customers that I introduced to them that lost well over 10000 pounds. As you should know, its not easy to find customers and not to be paid is sickening in my stomach

You have taken a statement out of context and twisted it around to suit you.

Brean78 did NOT say so many are having trouble with VC, his statement was more or less stating that there isn't much in the way of facts to back your claim that so many are having trouble with VC and there are a number of affiliates here that would state otherwise.

Now whether or not the GPWA can help you get to the bottom of what happened with your account, or help work out a comfortable situation for you or not I do not know, but possibly by coming here and getting in contact with a rep may help.

However, it has become quite clear your main mission coming here today has been an entire series of posts aimed AT VC.

The continuing of that kind of posting will likely not help your case.

Once a webmaster especially a new one comes to gpwa he gets here with queries and pissed off probably after 2 months of emailing back and forth to a useless support agent, i get what your aiming at but i sure understand what the guy is going through...

maybe you are just lucky.... most people dont talk because it normally amounts to NOTHING... you can bitch here on gpwa, you can go post on CM forums or AGD or PAL, end of the day no1 gives a f***... just watch this topic and the amount of days passed before one gets even a response.

Its pathetic, i advise all that go through this issues just drop them all and move on, i could have more money made should i have listened to some senior members that advised me to only work with the very best brands, i choose to be democratic and i have lost loads of traffic to companys that have some kind of issue...

And bytheway, that is like slapping every single member in the face because in fact we DO CARE!!

My statement to philipport99 was more or less aimed at hime based more on the fact that he is in fact a very new member here and clearly may have a gripe, but if he truly wants a place to discuss what has happened and a possible solution he may want to change his approach slightly.

In the end, whether you are right about VC for all affiliates or not is yet to be determined, but honestly, to put out a blanket statement that we don't care is NOT a recommended approach for sure....

you misread me, im aiming at the bitching part, of course its valuable for learning, networking, evolving, most of us would be blind still without this forums, but once you get ripped off there is no GPWa or any other community to save you, the time wasted, resources, cash flow you might lose, be honest universal, after a company decides to implement changes that go kaput, the publishers like us pay the bill for their lack of standards and efficiency ALWAYS!

this of not giving a f*** is part of the other side, the company itself dont care if we bitch and moan because they continue to line their pockets with the players we already sent to them. Im sure im not the only one to feel this, because one thing is to resolve a small issue but big things like payments due, program closures, clicks and stats disappearance always takes ages and litle success normally... i could give a lot of examples but this would de rail the thread even more...

but that was part of the point I was trying to make....

Stating you case like that would have gone a long way toward everyone understanding your point more....

I was not trying to put you down, but I have seen new members pull this so many times over the years here that it gets really frustrating....

You have some good points, but utilizing the forums as a tool to get a dialog going works better for the affiliates and the programs in the long run...

I agree that once you feel ripped off, there is often less hope of recovering the wasted time let alone the money, but we also need more thorough reports to help affiliates see when there are problems...

....and when we get a lot of reports from affililiates that seem to think a program is good and only a smaller number of reports of problems, the gpwa and other forums can be a good way to get to the bottom of where the issues lie and often can help facilitate getting those issues taken care of....

Since I started posting adds they have reponded that they only owed me 477.56 pounds in commission and that they will not pay that. They have offered to re-open my affiliate account (i presume as compensation) and accept my clients (are they nuts). Imagine I build up their business again and then due to irregular betting paterns, they close my account again, what planet are they on.

When I last checked my account It well over 2400 pounds that they owed me and growing nicelely each month. Please can anyone advise what are good affiliates and bad affiliates.

I am so upset about this, like most people I have a daughter, mortgage and bills to pay and really needed this money.

You have somewhat 11 posts and come here demanding we all blacklist VC just because of your case? Sorry not going to happen. To date apart from this thread i have not heard about VC paying problems at all.

I suggest you take universal4 advise and go through the proper channels before running around slamming a well respected brand. You comment you are new, then take advise from those that have been in this industry for years.

Take a deep breath, calm down and think before typing. You came here asking for advise, now take it and use it.
