I wanted to add here to let you know that Victoria's Poker is proprietary software and unique in many of its features not found in other online poker rooms. Also our affiliate program was just launched this week, so it is new.

If you want to be an affiliate you must download and install the software for "security purposes".

If you're going to promote the system, it seems OK to know what it's like.

But, that requirement raised a smal red flag in my "personal internal warning system".

The site seems to have very little traffic at this point but this may be since I'm in europe and not up during the night to see how the action is on your site . Are you at Victorias considering to get the traffic starting through for instance a prop program or similar? I was in last Saturday and there was not very many players there (EST - afternnon I think). I don't know about late evenings. You also state that the Big River variants are unique features of your site (in your software) However Poker Federation sites (you aren't one I think) has this variation.

Forget about what a manager tells you, take it from me - you MUST download every poker room you promote.

In order to get signups, a poker room needs to be active at all times of the day & night. There's no way a player will deposit money into a poker room which has little or no player activity.

In order to find out if a poker room is active you must download the software.

I agree with you about that. There are many poker rooms out there trying to get attention and players will very soon notice if a rooms has traffic or not. One year ago Party Poker had very little traffic compared to Paradise and by marketing efforts and a good prop stretegy they have grown at an impressive rate.

We do require our affiliates to open a real account. Our affiliate program is integrated into our backend, to track your payments to your account and it is also for your security. You do NOT need to make any deposit whatsoever.

There are other programs that do this as well. William Hill Casino for one.

As an aside, I would think as an affiliate/marketing partner you may wish to look at the software you are planning on promoting.

Hi Chris,

The exclusive component is the spread betting that we offer on our Big River Holdem game in our software - this is not found at popular poker as they offer only one of two options on their bet, as I understand it. Players enjoy the spread betting option that we offer, and we are the only poker room to offer it currently.
