    Default Visitors from all countries

    Hi everyone,

I recently started work on a sports betting site.

The site is in English but what I'm currently doing is I'm not targeting a specific geo-location.

I have two questions for the near future when I start promoting bookmakers.

    1. I have a review of a specific bookie with an affiliate link to it. Let's say the bookie has license in country X but doesn't have in country Y. My site visitor from country X clicks on the link and is directed to the bookie site. The guy from country Y clicks on the link and:
    • The bookie site is blocked by their local ISP - I assume all is fine here
    • The bookie site is not blocked and the visitor can browse it, but if they try to register, they will get a message from the bookie they can't register because his country is in the restricted territories - is this fine from a legal perspective for me specifically?

    2. If showing bookie banners on my site, can I show different banners to players from different countries? E.g. I would prefer a banner in and fractional odds for UK visitors, in $ and moneyline odds for US, and in and decimal odds for Europe. And is it being done by a WP plugin or in some other way? What about in-text links? Can I show three different links with the different currencies in the same three cases just described?

Any other considerations related to this topic that I haven't addressed?

Thank you in advance, this forum is great

Not sure if this will help, got some geo-advice in there - https://www.gpwa.org/forum/centralis...hlight=adspeed

FWIW, I'm still toying with revive. Haven't had much time with it yet.

Thank you @FictionNet for the response, I went through that topic and I will continue investigating.

Anyone on my first question? Does it depend on a country-by-country basis? E.g. USA will be very strict about this as they require even affiliates to have a license, and they will go after you if their resident sees your promotions illegally, whereas another country may not care at all to do anything?

In my websites we've build two layers of GEO locations:
    a. home page and CTA are based on visitor GEO

    b. visitors are redirected according to the player location: If a UK player reads a review about 'Gonzo Quest' and hits the 'Play Now' button he will redirected to a UK casino with 'Gonzo Quest' in his game list, if the player is located in DE her will redirected to a DE casino with 'Gonzo Quest' in his game list.

I can't help you with what the users see, because we don't use wordpress.
about b. (and it comes with a disclaimer) we've develop an affiliate platform specifically built for the gambling industry we currently focus on online casinos. we've built some redirection algorithm such as Game GEO, Brand GEO and more.

not sure whats the forum rule about links so you can either got to my website (have it on my signature ), you can google 'routy affiliate platform' or send me PM
    Routy.app
