Website Bandwidth, how much do you need?

How much bandwidth does everyone have in their hosting packages? (And how much trafic do you get)?

In the future we plan on setting up a few more websites but don't know if our existing package is good enough to include them or if we need to expand. Thanks.

Depends on the site - a big image heavy site will need more bandwidth than a light optimised site. Basically you should look at the bandwidth your sites are currently using and make estimates based on those figures.

Bandwidth isn't the only thing you need to look at though - memory and processing power play a huge role (eg: you could have 'unlimited bandwidth' but if your server can't cope with more than x then that's your limit). Server power is more difficult to estimate the needs of though as you need to be able to account for spikes.

Hosting is one thing I would never skimp on when it comes to casino affiliate sites, that 1 hour of downtime could cost you a big player.
My new site used 100gbb+ last month but it's mainly showing videos, where as my main money site used < 2gb so it's hard to say but any decent hosting package will provide plenty of bandwith for the typical affiliate site.

Tell us what your current hosting package is.

As it's our first website we went with Vidahost Cloud Standard. 25gb per month.
We are not getting any visitors yet so can't make any assumptions about future bandwidth needs.
