    Lightbulb Website monetization

Apart from affiliation, what are the best Gaming AdSense/Google Ads alternatives for our websites?
Do you use any other CPM/CPC/CPV networks?

Given the amount of money to be made in the online gambling affiliate business, I would never slow my website down with super low paying AdSense or anything of the sort. Not only does it slow down the site but cheapens it in the eyes of readers IMHO.

    I agree with PROFRBcom

but that doesn't mean you don't need to monetize your gambling traffic.

A/B test your brands, A/B test on your internal pages (slot review, guides). don't just drop an affiliate link and expect to see result.

know you page/brand conversion and you'll find your extra FTDs.

It's very easy for anyone who has x thousands or high x hundreds of visitors per day to say it's easy to get sign ups, you can fill your boots without even thinking about it by posting up a list of 'top 5 casinos/poker rooms' as pretty much the first thing you'll see on a page or cleverly inlining a suggestive link, and punters will be falling over themselves to sign up with your affiliate code....so don't waste your time looking at any other form of advertising.

And good luck to them. They earned that reasoning...and it works for them.

As it will do for many others with lower traffic that's reaching the sites with a search term of ''I have £s/$s/€s spilling out of my socks, show me a list of 5 casinos on your page right now, I'm ready to lose it all in a casino and I'm going to sign up with one of yours''

OK I exaggerate, but you should get the point.

But not everyone is going to be in those positions.

They may have reasonable traffic that just wouldn't convert at levels sufficient enough to overcome quota requirements (because of it's original search intent)...

they may not be experienced or 'clever' enough to know how best to deal with the traffic they do get (but still, if it isn't fairly significant it's possibly not going to be enough to make any impact - and potentially just get 'wasted' when the quota can't be reached)....

or they might be fairly new and trying to make enough to at least cover some costs while building up.

    ...and a few I haven't thought of.

So there are (in some cases) legitimate (or at least understandable) reasons to look elsewhere...although OP I suspect no one here is going to know any other than the obvious Adsense....and the comments about low returns from that are accurate of course unless you have high traffic volume (in which case yes the earlier comments have more validity..and even with high traffic to adsense the returns may not equate to what you could have got with an affiliate target)

you need to make sure you maximized the potential of the traffic before you move to Adsense (which I doubt if they will work with casino related website).
even "free play" traffic convert every once in awhile. You need to make sure you set the proper affiliate link of this page. if you get traffic to slot review page, make sure that the casino you are sending the traffic to has this slot. with the rights tools it's and easy task

Adsense and **** like that makes less money than one, single, decent player converted through gambling affiliate links.

That type of monetization is a DEAD END in this industry.

Time is much better spent on other things that make visitors convert, bring in visitors in the first place, etc.

Yeap, totally agree here with you!
I also think it better to spend money on SEO and UX improvement to push players to click the button and go to casino website, register and make the 1st deposit.

Agreed. People overlook this sort of thing all the time and it is just sad!

Also agree with the answers above. Adsense policy keeps changing, it can slow your site a lot, and you can get banned without a reason. So I wouldn't bother with these kinds of ways to make some money...

Agree! SEO and UX is certainly the best approach. Adsense is a real turn off for me. I hate going to sites where I am bombarded with ads and gifs. Work on SEO and get some good players which will be more profitable than adsense.

Forget about Google Adsense. ROI from one player would be much better if you will use only affiliate links.
Try to start with CPA deals, they will give you a good start that you can re invest. Than switch to REV share.

You can also try skrill and neteller affiliation, but i never got any big results from it.
