For me, the biggest red flag is when a review sounds overly perfect and avoids mentioning any negatives at all. Real casino experiences usually include at least some discussion about withdrawal times, verification, bonus terms, support quality, or country restrictions. Generic praise is the biggest red flag for me. If a review feels like it was copy-pasted from the casino's own 'About Us' page without mentioning a single drawback, it’s just an ad. I’d much rather see an honest 7/10 that calls out a clunky UI than a fake 10/10.

For me, the biggest red flags are unclear or overly restrictive bonus terms, weak licensing, low maximum withdrawal limits, and incomprehensible withdrawal delays. These issues directly impact player safety, transparency, and whether customers can access their winnings without unnecessary hassle.

Redemption caps on no-deposit sweeps (in this case) bonuses are the thing new players miss mos a "free 5,000 Gold Coins + 2 Sweeps Coins" headline often has a redemption minimum that requires topping up via a coin purchase to actually cash out, even though the initial claim is "no purchase necessary." Not illegal, just worth flagging clearly in reviews. I've started adding explicit "redemption minimum" callouts to bonus breakdowns for exactly this reason.

There's tons of orange flags and 1 real red flag, being - are people complaining about withdrawals being stuck/not getting paid out.

Everything else is okay really - like not having tons of games providers or KYC not going through or whatever the issue is, if my withdrawals aren't coming through I'm not re-depositing. But red flags for identifying this problem for me are:

• A perfect or near-perfect rating without justification
• Bonus/offer presented without the important restrictions
• “Fast withdrawals” stated without saying what was tested

A credible review should help someone decide against an operator when it is not the right fit, not simply find a reason to click.

I also hate it when the tone is overly enthusiastic. Probably a bit like real life where someone is a bit over the top when trying to sell you something it gives you the creeps.
