Yep, I'm just as disgusted with this situation as everyone else. AND my disgust turns to anger!!

So, I write emails to anyone and everyone I can think of complaining about the Gestapo techniques being used agains private US citizens. Citizens who should be able to spend their money as they chose without the "government" launching a "jihad" against them.

I thought "holy wars" were against the Constitution. I do not want zealots having the power to search and destroy at will, in the name of "saving me from myself". That's not the government's job.

This crap about a war against terrorism is a smokescreen. If they want to fight a war against terrorism, they'd be hunting down Bin Laden, rather than US citizens.

So, no I don't know whether any of my emails have any effect, but one never knows where a word will make a difference. One thing is for sure, if I don't say anything, I'm just as much a part of the problem as the goon squad.

So, I'm off to send more emails to newspapers, tv stations, cnn, msnbc, politicians and anyone else I can find.
