It is a great topic for affiliate forum in 2019 since we are jobless.

I usually do not wear socks since I mostly am in tropics, but when I do, they usually have more colours. Some dark combinations.

I would like to point out that nowadays is really a problem to get decent socks that do not have too tight gum on the top.

Used to be black not switching to brown since want to get eventually replace the old ones.
It is best hack to use same socks (design/colour), then you will not need to spend any time matching them.

This is the dream, my friend.

I chose "I dont wear socks" because I wear thongs ("flip flops" for our american friends) every day of the year. Some have even seen me walking around London in Feb wearing them. I hate shoes. Ill only wear them if I absolutely have to.
