What content is converting?
We can easily say traffic for terms like "poker for real money" will convert to depositors way better than "free poker", but what other terms in between these seem to be working good for the gambling sectors, download.... now... bonus... tournament ...etc? Please share what you want and help a freshman out, don't share more than you want off course

That's a tough one.
I've been on the same quest. I need to find the right keyword phrases that bring in the best converting traffic. I'm not so interesting in page-hits, PR, or brut visitors. I'm more interested in finding depositing players (I have a gift for pointing out the obvious
).
On one recent non-casino site I made I saw that ocean-front-property-costa-rica.com brings in 30 times more traffic than beach-front-property-costa-rica.com
Both have similar content, total search quantities, and incoming links. It's got to be the same way with casino related sites. There's got to be keyword phrases that are predestined to bring in more depositing players.
I don't have enough experience to be able to pull up some stats to support one way or the other.
It would be nice to see a way to determine the exact keyword phrases used by the depositing players. Do you know of a way to track that?

Thanks for your response Kaus, I think it can not be stressed enough to think like players do. Do you use polls on your website or other feedback formats to find out what players want as well? If yes I am curious what kind of polls you use most.

I tried doing small questionaires once. For an idea that one day i will run and I think it would just stick in people's minds.....anyway most did not take it seriously. But I do like the poll idea for finding out what they want.
Asking them questions that would help you as a webmaster target certain areas may seem stupid to them so they may not answer, but relating it to what articles interest you the most, and such I think may work.
It's funny because I have spent hours on google keyword tool searching for countless keywords that are highly searched and not over saturated by competition ( like there is much) and yet the keywords that do bring in the traffic are sometimes not as difficult as it may seem to reach.
Now I just use commen sense over all the seo tools for this and try to think what would I be looking for. I also use the same approach when figuring out what will be going in my h tags.

Hello
Make some research on the internet, submit your site to various search engines & directories. use right keywords and contents for your websites.
This will help you.

you can always do some competitor research to help get this info. Honestly, no one is going to say keyword XXX makes me a ton of money - because as soon as word gets out, it gets more competitive. There are no shortcuts to this research.
And one important thing to remember... And I have to tell myself this repeatedly. You can't expect conversions if you dont have traffic. It literally takes thousands of visitors before you can really feel confident in the accuracy of your stats. It's not just what kewords convert, but which ones will draw traffic appropriate for your site.
