I double check the link every time and if it's a bespoke link that's not on the system I'll always check that there's consistency with other links that I know work.

I usually log in to my account and retrieve the link myself. It’s quicker that way, and I can verify at the same time if there’s anything else that needs my attention.

I will always grab my own link if I can. If I can't I will monitor clicks from the new link they send me to make sure it is tracking and it is comparable to previous performance.
I have been sent links more than once that had the wrong tracking ID so not worth taking their word for it.
