Where a free-to-play game is made available on an affiliate website, it is important who the target audience of that advert is.

If the site is targeted at consumers, we would expect free to play games to be available for play only by consumers who have been age verified. This is consistent with social responsibility code 3.2.11.

I think this makes it fairly clear the use of free games without age verification could be problematic.

The problem is the very keywords predominantly used to get the visitor to start with.
While true this does happen some, it is far more rare than some will admit.
This is can also be complicated even more when players play directly on sites with no signup, as there only incentive is when "they" decide they would like to play for real money.

Those visitors that may decide to join the casino even if they feel they will continue to play free, are more incentivized later by email and or promotions play for real from the operators.

As has been said here and other threads in this topic, be sure to surround any free games with at least some links and information why visitors might want to become players, of the game, even if for free.

A lof of people have already made some great points, but what i'd like to add in terms of SEO benefits, is that you greatly increase your visitors dwell time and time on page - which could work as an indicator of an insightful and valuable website.

As long as it's targeted to people of age, it's obviously also important to be able to monetize this type of traffic as well.

Yes, I have had this experience, but keep in mind the integration costs, unless you find a good free slots provider with an affiliate revenue sharing model.
