What does Google report as the average click through rate for your main site?
Google Search Console includes a performance section that provides information about how sites perform in search results. For example, for the GPWA website, the following data is provided for the past three months:
33.4K total clicks
1.57M total impressions
2.1% average click through rate
38.8 average position in search results
Besides voting in the poll about your overall average CTR (click through rate), I invite you to share other statistics as well plus any observations you have about how the statistics have changed for you.
In the case of the GPWA, the largest number of clicks come from searching for "gpwa" with 3,616 impressions over the past three months and 1,899 clicks. Second was "gpwa forum" with 847 impressions and 780 clicks. Further down is the typo "gwpa" with 669 impressions and 107 clicks.
But what I found most interesting is that three months ago the daily impression figure bounced around at between 11,000 and 15,000 per day. Whereas over the past few weeks the daily impression figure has increased to between 25,000 and 30,000 impressions per day. I like that the GPWA impressions have improved that much. The click rate has gone up too, although not as much as the impression rate.

The average click-through rate for my main site is 1.0% to 1.4% and I get about 8,000 to 10,000 visitors every month. The number of impressions for my site have also increased significantly but this month hasn't been a strong one in terms of conversions and sign-ups.
