1+ for all of them. A bit of extra sugar for the bold statement

Given past polls, we'll probably see a lot of newbies stating X, Y and Z, etc., etc., etc.

However, lets just say... TheGooner and I have been igaming affiliate for 20+ years. We're still around and going strong!

Food for thought...Obviously we're doing something right.

No one use tracking software? How you monetize your traffic?
Lets say you get small amount of organic traffic to an internal slot review. How do you plan to convert this traffic if you don't A/B testing.

And +1 on all of that inc. the 20+ yrs.

Ref the question about tracking software: no, we just bounce all clicks through our own database

Default Free Tools that simply Writing Posts

    FREE TOOLS

    Google Docs for dictation
Google Sheets for quick calculations and tables
Google Search for spelling and synonyms
    Office excel for large spreadsheets

Google Docs for dictation - Simply press ctrl+shift+s and dictate posts. It is easier than typing and allows you to collect your thoughts and ramble on. Faster and easier to organize than wordpress.

It also indicates spelling and grammatical errors.

It’s also great for using your phone to make notes about ideas you want to include in your posts.

Google Sheets for quick calculations and tables - I use google sheets to make quick calculations. If you find that the information would make a nice little table for your posts, just copy and paste the calculation as values.

Then copy the values to wordpress to get a simple table.

Google Search for spelling and synonyms - Forget how to spell a word? Just pop it into google search and it will give the right spelling and suggest synonyms to enhance your writing and avoid overuse of the same adjectives.

Office.com for Spreadsheets - When you want to save a large document for long tern use, I find that that excel is better than google sheets. You can also use word and the other office tools as needed.

All these tools are free and can be accessed from wherever you are or whatever device you are using.

SEMrush - a great and super powerful tool for checking sites SEO progress, backlinks, etc
Ahrefs - Another great tool used for checking keyword and traffic trends of sites.
Google Sheets - Always the best to keep track of all sheets online.

I love using the free tools that we have been using in the past few years because you do not have to use the top apps that have pay walls. It is hard to really pin down a preffered app because there are a lot of entities out there that can serve as a solid replacement for any of this but the convenience is probably the best so the Google suite with its add ons and tools are the best thing for me in the job. I don't know if anyone else prefers anything else free but there are some positives that can be taken away from there especially if you are interested in that kind of thing.
