Hi everyone,
Many thanks to you all for your comments and we appreciate the feedback.
GFPC, we have worked in affiliate marketing for over 10 years and our company and business has been built on the backbone of working with affiliates and affiliate programmes. Our clients, whether they are private, government owned, or publicly listed companies, work with us to build and grow their business. We work very closely with affiliates, as we see them as long-term business partners, both for us and for our partners, and go to great lengths to build a relationship based on trust, integrity and professionalism. As Shaun mentioned, we have worked with him for over 5 years and across different companies, and continue to work with him and his company to support their business. Needless to say, we have worked with programmes in the past that have experienced financial difficulties and closed their programmes as they were not able to pay their affiliates, nor us. Closing programmes is always the last resort.
In terms of our integrations, we either integrate directly with an operator or with their software provider, depending on where the source of the data is, and the transfer of data is an automated process. When migrations occur, a programme usually informs their affiliates of the process, i.e., whether they are transferring historical data, whether they will keep the old accounts accessible and for how long, what will happen with the old links, what they should see in their new account, what will happen with the balance of commission payments from the old account, and so on. We have done numerous migrations successfully and a clear communication before, during and after migration is what we adopt and advise our partners so there is transparency and a clear understanding of the transition.
With regards to the Everest programme migration specifically, GFPC, and anyone else having an issue with their stats, please raise them with the Everest team, who are managing their programme. They are a reputable brand, and have a respectable name in our industry. You mentioned in your post that you have built a great relationship with them, thus they should be able to help you. If you are not clear on the transition of the programme and your stats, please inform them with the specifics of the issue so they can address them for you. You are also very welcome to send us an email with the details and we will be happy to look into it and work with the team at Everest.
With regards to other programmes that you mention having problems with, again, please send us the details and we will be happy to look into them. Please be specific with your details and send us screenshots if possible so we can troubleshoot properly.
Lastly, with regards to conversions, affiliate marketing is about finding the right traffic for the right product or service. There could be several reasons for low conversions including a mismatch in traffic and brand, complex or lengthy player journeys, type of message being advertised, type of creative being used, non-targeted landing page....and the list goes on. We have affiliates that do very well with one brand and do less well with another. To pinpoint it to one of these items is difficult, and as affiliate managers, we analyse conversion and work closely with our affiliates to find out about their traffic so we can guide them appropriately to send targeted traffic to our partner programmes. We have over 150 partners with strengths in different markets, and who target various audiences. We encourage you to ask questions and find out which brands suit your traffic. The beauty about our industry is that we have a wide variety of programmes to choose from and ultimately you should test different brands, software platforms, and games in order to find ones that suit your traffic and business.
We hope this addresses your comments and concerns GFPC. Please don't hesitate to contact us if your concerns are not properly addressed. You can reach me at Jamie @ incomeaccess.com.
Many thanks,
