Yes Iīm sure youīre right about the big players, but Iīm also quite sure MG casinos did the math on the RF players.
In total they must have experianced a loss.

Thanks for info. But I don't think banning countries because of bad math results is very good thing (as Dane you should know!). And about frauds as far as I understand it takes 2-3 days for money to reach your account. Casino can just postpone payout for several days to be sure it really get all the money.

Hi Yura,
Iīve seen the effects of danish bonus hunters when it started in 2001; at that time there was generally low playthrough requirements on welcome bonuses, and this was featured in a newscast on danish television.
The results were damaging to say it mildly, because these players didnīt want to play - they were only interested in a quick buck and then went on to the next casino.
I guess some of the casinos that continued to have free welcome bonuses for danes even months after the newscast hoped for a bigger marketshare, but the math/positive buttomline wasnīt there.
Things have changed though - both in the attitude of danish players towards gambling and the WR requirements if they take the bonus. And MG casinos are some of the very few that allow danes to play for money at all today.
Fraud is complicated to handle as the casino is allways at risk of chargebacks etc, and itīs often the abuse of a few that ruins it for the majority.

Thanks for interesting info about Denmark gambling history
. I've met one guy at Be the Dealer who used to play at 200 casinos, but now play at BtD only
.
AFAIK almost all casinos accepts Danes though they either do not grant bonus at all or set double wagering requirements. Situation is quite worse for Russia.

Yura,
Iīve tried promoting BtD but their concept seems to confuse new players.
At the few RTG and Playtech casinos I recently checked Danes arenīt allowed to open realaccounts at all; I donīt understand why, as they could just refuse to give them any bonus if thatīs the problem.
Maybe Denmark will soon be in the same category as RF countries, and allthough I donīt promote to danish players I think it would be sad.

Just out of curiosity, I've heard that there are online clubs with the only purpose of bonus hunting so when there is a good prey e.g a casion issuing a nice bonus the alarm goes and the danes invades the casino. Sometimes swedes and norwegians are also bundled with the danes in the bonus disclaimers (for instance thepokerclub.com) but it seems to be mainly a danish phenomena (when considering the scandinavian countries).

Hi Poker,
I know there were danish websites some time ago that had only that purpose (bonus hunting), and the webmaster encouraged all players to rip the casinos.
And Iīm sure there has been clubs too - bonus hunting allmost became a national sport in spring 2001.
But they seem to have disappeared, and generally youīll see that casinos have WR of 20(D+B) nowadays for danish players.
