Is there any traffic from India?

Is it actually legal or not to have an online gambling site?

There is no general law, that would allow or prohibit gambling in India. Similar to the US - India consists of states and gambling laws are defined on a state level. There are states where it is illegal, there are states where it is legal and in some states it is not regulated at all.

...and note the heavy/important distinctions in Indian laws between games of chance and games of skill...there has been much debate around this in Indian news channels over the last couple of months at least
