Where to find a decent web developer?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to find a web developer who can help me build out my affiliate website. It would use Wordpress and ideally run on the DIVI theme. I've tried a few freelance sites like Upwork, but am having trouble finding anyone who actually knows what they're doing - especially when it comes to the Igaming niche.

Any tips greatly appreciated, cheers!

I've had good success finding people on freelancer. Just be sure to look at each developers profile carefully and choose one with tons of reviews which also shows their $$$ earnings, look for high dollar signs in the earnings in addition to the reviews. that should be a good developer.

I did not find a decent dev at freelancer type sites ever. And it is just getting worse.
In fact it is as bad situation with those overpriced bastards as with affiliate programs.

There is way too much money pumped in economy and those trillions are distorting the market. The money flow into shiny IT projects and there is not enough devs who have to work on ****** projects. Sadly those projects which will never make any money, have enough funding. So the devs nowadays look just for the most money for less work. Still they will have enough offer always, so they can afford to turn down any offer.

They insist on reduced workhours, because they want some gayish balance of life bullshit, but with this approach the small business can never keep up with the big boys.

10 years ago there were curious guys who wanted to work even for free, so it worked more or less. Now they feel they are something even when they are really stupid and not involved.

I read now even people who studied sociology, politology, economy and such bullsh1t finally realise there is not work for them, so they learn to code. It will be even bigger disaster.

try upwork, you can find value there for a custom site
