Hi Sandra, please provide a breakdown of the IPS fees. If an affiliate receives 25% by default, what is that 25% of. Your terms and conditions are very elusive and there's no indication of what you actually subtract before calculating affiliate commissions.

regarding your question above, here is what we deduct (relying on our T&C's here):

(i) credited bonuses or promotional adjustments given to the player; (ii) applicable taxes, duties or other levies imposed upon and payable in respect of gambling by any relevant jurisdiction; (iii) jackpot contributions; (iv) uncollectable revenues (including any charge-backs, payment reversals, etc.); and (v) third party charges (including game provider software, hosting and platform fees, and payment processing service charges).

(i) Can you please provide a breakdown of these with some examples?
(iv) What % of these are charged to the affiliate?
(v) What % are the third party charges? Are you using direct deals with software providers or a platform like igamingcloud/everymatrix? If using a platform what % are you charging affiliates before calculating revenues? How much of the payment processing fees are you charging affiliates? Is it 100% of the fees?

All your information is very vague. LeoVegas charge 35% fees. GiG charge something like 22%. You need to have more measurable and defined deductions so we can actually know what we're being paid commission on. Lots of operators use inflated software fees as a sneaky way to trim affiliate commissions.

I apologise for the delayed reply but I was off sick for a while.
To reiterate on our said terms and conditions from above in terms of fee reduction:
i) credited bonuses or promotional adjustments given to the player; (ii) applicable taxes, duties or other levies imposed upon and payable in respect of gambling by any relevant jurisdiction; (iii) jackpot contributions; (iv) uncollectable revenues (including any charge-backs, payment reversals, etc.); and (v) third party charges (including game provider software, hosting and platform fees, and payment processing service charges)
the breakdown you were asking for is following:

We deduct 25% for adjustments, which includes platform fees for Bede Gaming as well as chargebacks, software fees, hosting and third party royalties.
We deduct actual costs for jackpot contributions and POCT (point of consumption tax, which is 0 for most countries but 15% for UK). All of these deduction are from Hold.

You either A) Do not Know or B) You are trying to avoid this question, I think every new program should be asked this as GPWA Do not ask which probably now is the most important question WHAT ARE REAL EARNINGS e.g if Player loses 5,000 what is the Affiliate real revenue earnings isntead of.. 25% here, 15% there, this exspense here plus that payment there etc. etc.. right now you guys are looking around 8% of real player losses.. unless you actually have a real figure.

And the bonus.. is this the case you give Player A 1000 bonus it's automatically taken off earnings as a loss? "Monopoly money bonus" or is it based on player winning cashing out then bonus removed?

Apologies, I am not trying to avoid the question at all, I am answering it to the best of my knowledge, and have asked my manager for clarification.
I will give you a figure based on the £5,000 deposit you enquired about, if you had a rev-share of 35%

The player deposits £5,000 after deducting the platform and hosting fees, calculating for chargeback and void, and the earlier mentioned POCT, we have a sub-total of £3,000 of which we then calculate the amount based on the rev-share agreed. The affiliate is paid £1,050.

Regarding the bonuses, you are right in thinking that this is also deducted therefore be taken into consideration as well if the player takes a bonus. This is to encourage higher value players and better quality traffic for both us and affiliates.

Strange, your platform seems to be just one of the many where you have the luckiest of players, as I have not yet had one positive day. This is out of signing up roughly 30 - 40 depositors a month. You must be on some bad loosing streak, or let me guess, it is actually just me that loses. Another program being wiped off.

As a relatively new comer to the industry and enjoying the steep learning curve this thread is very interesting and has generated a lot of questions in my mind regarding some programs and how costs and rev share are actually calculated. Looking forward to reading more.

It is fine Sandra, I have removed your brands from my sites. I worked it out all by myself. You see you don't pay for UK traffic, but you like to take the losses off affiliates UK traffic. Considering that my traffic is UK traffic, this can be the only explanation of why my account has gone into the negative.

Your program is on par with Foxy. Maybe even lower down in my opinion. At least Foxy do not try to hide their shameless money grabbing tactics.

As for the closure of Bingo Friends: yes the site has closed down, but all players have been migrated to www.bingos.co.uk so we can make sure that all our affiliates still get paid for the players they have referred to Bingo Friends.
